For over three decades, the Kornmarkt has been firmly in the hands of flying traders once a week. Here on Fridays from 8 AM to 6 PM, one can purchase everything important for physical well-being. Fresh eggs, cheese, sausages, fish, honey, as well as flowers or the hearty bratwurst for between meals. If the weekly market falls on a holiday, it takes place on the Wednesday before.

Simone and Detlef Gath have been at the market for eleven years. They bake bread on-site in a wood oven, and their pastries and Flammkuchen are as popular as their pretzels. The company is based in Neunkirchen and has been represented at the weekly market for over a decade.
Owner Reiner Zickel has been offering everything made from his own production since 1988. The Ballersbach bakery exclusively uses grains from the surrounding area.
Owner Wolfgang Schäfer is a “man of the first hour” of the Herborn weekly market. His egg farm is based in Waigandshain. In addition to eggs, he and his wife also offer honey, sausage, and egg liqueur.
Meat and sausage products, as well as even slaughtering, are offered by the Weidenhausen butcher Heinrich Schorge. This stand has also been present since the inception of the weekly market.
For 30 years now, hot fried fish, fish sandwiches, and self-smoked trout have been sold at the Trout Express stand from Dillenburg by Esther Roßmann from Dillenburg. The goods come directly from Bremen's harbor.
Since the beginning of 2017, Detlef Nowak has been a new presence at the weekly market. Fresh, ice-cold fish from the North Sea, fish without bones upon request, smoked fish, as well as international fish salad and matjes specialties are offered at this stand.
A long-standing vendor from the very beginning is Günther Motzkuhn: For three decades, he has been delighting customers with roasted chickens, poultry, sausages, and noodles. The products come from the Münsterland region.
With olives, sheep cheese, and other delicacies, Peter Scholz from Aygün Delicacies in Aßlar has attracted customers to the market for the last 13 years. A special specialty is the “integration cheese.” Mediterranean foods from Greece, Spain, Italy, and Germany, most of which are self-produced.
Martin Pfeifer's honey is produced from his own bees around Ewersbach. Nothing is purchased; he has been an experienced beekeeper for 30 years and regularly visits honey exhibitions.
Participating for 25 years, the Herr butcher shop offers homemade sausage products, beef, and pork at the weekly market. The pigs are sourced from agricultural operations in North Hesse, bearing the quality seal "Good from Hesse." The beef comes from Schwalmstadt and is slaughtered in Manderbach.
With organic vegetables, mushrooms, potatoes, and fruits, Christian Wohlgemuth from Hüttenberg maintains his spot at the Herborn weekly market. Ecologically grown fruits and vegetables, dried fruits and nuts, as well as a special offer for raw food enthusiasts and allergy sufferers characterize the stand. He is supplied by Bioland/Demeter. Producers/distributors include: Hof Toll Grün, Schwanenhof, Main Grün.
For 15 years, customers have been able to find everything that cheese entails at the Kirschbaum Cheese and Delicacies stand from Betzdorf. Owner Sonja Kirschbaum from Betzdorf mainly offers cheese from Switzerland, Italy, and France, as well as cream cheese, soft cheese, parmesan, and fresh pasta and poultry salad.
