In the tour planner we inform you under the tab "Current info" about temporary route changes, closures and detours.
Starting from Bad Marienberg, the route leads to Dreisbach and Stockum-Püschen in the direction of Wölferlingen. Passing a highlight of the route, the Dreifelder Weiher, the route continues towards the historic town centre of Hachenburg. Next is the Marienstatt Monastery near Streithausen, from where the route goes towards Rosenheim and Elkenroth.
Before Nisterberg, it goes to the highest point of the route at Stein-Neukirch and from there via Hellenhahn to the Secker Weiher. Passing the Wiesensee, the route leads over Höhn back towards Bad Marienberg.
Bad Marienberg is conveniently located, central, in the middle of Germany. Easily accessible via two motorways, the A3 and the A45.
Motorway exits:
A3, Cologne - Frankfurt: Hennef/Sieg or Dierdorf
A3, Frankfurt - Cologne: Limburg-Nord or Montabaur
A45, Dortmund - Frankfurt: Haiger Burbach or Herborn West

to the station Nistertal-Bad Marienberg

ICE station Montabaur, bus connection to Bad Marienberg (35 km)
ICE station Limburg, then regional train to the station Nistertal-Bad Marienberg.
Bus connection to the town of Bad Marienberg (7 km).
