After about 100 m through Hohlstraße, turn right behind the church, passing over Westerwald and Herrstraße to the country road leading to Frickhofen. On the opposite side, under shady lindens, stands the Cross Chapel with its elaborate Baroque altar and a relic from the Cross of Christ. Above the chapel is the spacious riding and dressage facility of the traditional Niederzeuzheim riding and driving club. The path leads right onto the sports ground, crosses the soccer field, and reaches a narrow forest path to the barbecue hut with many seating areas and some play equipment for children. The path continues through the forest. Those interested in cultural history can leave the circular hiking route here and make the ascent to the stone cist grave. A quiet forest path leads to the remains of a historically significant cultural monument, a stone cist grave from around 2000 BC. This grave was used for burials over a long period. Anthropological studies of the found skeletons identified 23 adults and 2 children. After returning to the circular route, the path crosses the railway tracks and follows the forest edge of a slate mountain to the right. The exposed tunnel now serves as a winter quarters for bats. Turning left, passing the Maria-Hilf Chapel, the path runs along the graceful river landscape to Lochmühle and the Roman Aumühle. It then climbs uphill toward Oberzeuzheim. On the return route through Bahnhofstraße, there is a beautiful view of the village jewel Niederzeuzheim, and the circular route ends at the station.
