Description

This walking path on the RP3 offers beautiful views of the spa town Roßbach, the extinct volcano "Roßbacher Häubchen," and the inviting Wied valley. It takes us along the idyllic Wied for a stretch through the adjacent Wallbach valley. Benches with wide views invite us to rest repeatedly. Shortly after, we hike a short piece uphill towards Spreitchen to the chapel "Heiligenhäuschen," built in 1818, and begin the descent above the Wied back to the parking lot here.
