Description

During a vacation in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, physiotherapist Egon Bergmann discovered a respiratory teaching path created there. He found this idea and concept so good that he wanted to bring such a path to Weyerbusch as well.

The Weyerbusch Traffic and Citizens' Association was enthusiastic, clarified the implementation with those responsible in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and realized the themed path in 2016 on the outskirts of Weyerbusch, directly on the WesterwaldSteig.

Along the path, we now find 13 weatherproof information panels showing exercises suitable for strengthening lung function in an easy-to-understand way. The conception and development of the individual exercises were carried out under the scientific guidance of lung specialists Dr. Claudia Sommer and Dr. Dieter Sommer from Garmisch-Partenkirchen.

Here, it is simply possible to do something for your health multiple times: strengthen lung function, enjoy beautiful views, breathe the Westerwald air, and recover from everyday stress.
