Wäller Charity Hike
Join us – for the Wäller Charity Hike on Saturday, September 19, 2026!Together with the Sparkassen Westerwald-Sieg and Neuwied, we from the Westerwald Touristik-Service warmly invite you to a very special hiking day: Discover the beautiful nature of our region – and do good while doing it!
You can look forward to a total of 5 varied routes: two Wäller Tours, two Small Wäller, and a family-friendly hike. No prior registration is necessary – just come by, start hiking, and enjoy!
As a small thank you, you will receive a donation coupon worth 10 euros at the finish line. You can redeem this on the platforms “WirWunder” (for the districts of Altenkirchen and Westerwald) or “Heimatleben” (for the district of Neuwied) for a heart project in your region.

The following tours are available:
Small Wäller Gnome Path 2 (4.5 km)
Wäller Tour Eisenbachtal (9 km)
Family Tour Wild Park Bad Marienberg (approx. 4 km) - A large bounce house awaits the children in the Wild Park Bad Marienberg.
Gruben Wanderweg Brachbach (10 km)
This is how the Wäller Charity Hike works: At the official start/finish of each round trip, a team from the Sparkassen/Westerwald Touristik-Service GbR will be present from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. No prior registration is required.At the beginning, you will receive a small snack. In the middle of the tours, there is a photo point where you can take a photo of yourself as proof. At the route destination, the donation coupon awaits you as a reward.
The hiking tour in the district of Neuwied is the "Kleine Wäller Zwergenweg 2"
The 4.5 km long Kleine Wäller Zwergenweg 2 follows the theme "Bat in the Laubachtal" starting from Rengsdorf, traversing through woods and fields, and offers not only nature experiences but also a playground and a place to eat.
