Through forests, meadows, and fields, the W3 leads us on varied paths in the south and west of Waldbreitbach over the heights of Hausen and Frorath. Here, magnificent views of Wiedtal and Westerwald await us. A detour to St. Josefshaus and the Kreuzkapelle, near the path, is always worthwhile. We can refresh our tired feet at the Kneipp basin in Waldbreitbach, which is located directly by the trail. It is fed by an iron-rich mountain spring from the former ore mine tunnel. At the end of the route, Nassen's Mill with good cuisine awaits us - also in summer on the picturesque terrace by the Wied.
