Detailed description

The Wisserland-Touristik e.V. is the contact point for holiday and stay wishes of visitors in the Verbandsgemeinde Wissen.

As a regional tourism association, we gladly present our hosts and excursion destinations in the city of Wissen, as well as in the local communities of Birken-Honigsessen, Hövels, Katzwinkel (Sieg), Mittelhof, and Selbach (Sieg). In the modern RegioBahnhof (award-winning hiking station), we serve as a tourist information center together with the travel center of the Westerwaldbahn (DB agency, tickets, Ameropa travel, and more) for all matters related to vacations.

Our services:

  • Advice and information on accommodations, gastronomy, and attractions
  • Advice on hiking and cycling offers, as well as other leisure activities
  • Print media such as brochures and hiking maps of the Westerwald and the Sieg natural region
  • E-bike rental station (2 trekking e-bikes, sizes M and L) from April to including October
  • Charging options for e-bikes
  • Booking of city tours and guided hikes, e.g., "The Old Knowledge," "The Walzwerk Wissen," "Wissen, Buildings, People, and Stories"
