At the beginning of the Kesselbach Valley lies the Niederfischbach Zoo with falconry and regularly scheduled free-flight demonstrations. An experience for the whole family!
Experience nature ... this means encountering the native wildlife at the Niederfischbach Zoo. Storks and lynxes, wild boars and raccoons can tell many exciting stories about their lives. This and the care and breeding of endangered traditional domestic animal breeds are the main focuses of the park. A highlight is the falconry, which is in season from April 1st to early November. In 15 spacious aviaries, falcons, eagle owls, eagles, and buzzards live, which visitors can experience daily (except Mondays and Tuesdays) in free flight during a presentation at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Here, a falconer shares a lot of interesting information about the different birds and their strategies. So off to the Niederfischbach Zoo - let yourself be thrilled by how the birds fly over the heads of the audience. An experience for the whole family!
