Skiverleih Hütte Malberg

Detailed description

The Malberg ski slope was opened nearly 60 years ago, on December 26, 1964. At that time, there was a small branch of the Henrich sports store from Niederbieber in the area of the slope at Malberg. There, skis were repaired, waxed, rented, and sold. For many years, the former ski and repair workshop lay in a "sleeping beauty" state. Now it has been cleared, polished, and equipped with historical attributes.

In addition to the former manager's cabin below the Malberg hut, which was transformed into a mini-museum in 2022, this, together with the basalt educational trail, Little Wäller, forest swings, information boards about the former ski operation, and the viewpoint at the summit cross, forms a tourist highlight that is worth seeing.
