Description

Our varied circular route S3 Straßenhaus first leads us along the forest at the edge of Jahrsfeld. Then it goes a stretch along meadows and fields with beautiful views. We cross the Fockenbach and enter the forest. Our path leads us toward Fockenbachsmühle until we turn back east of Hollig. In the south of Hümmerich, it goes always along the Fockenbach until the Hümmericher Mühle. Here we encounter the Gierender Bach. However, we continue to follow the Fockenbach to the Grube Alexander (detour) and further past a barbecue hut to the Niederhonnefer Mühle. In Niederhonnefeld, we can refresh ourselves in the warm season at the natural swimming pool. Then it continues back to the starting point of our route.
