Water, forest, and green meadows shape the beautiful RP1 walking path. It takes us along the Wied a bit into the quietly located Masbach valley. After a small ascent, beautiful views open up of the spa town Roßbach and the Himmelberg. We hike a section of the WesterwaldSteig and enjoy the wide views over the green hills of the Wied valley. With hiking gear and some extra time, the loop (extra route!) to the Roßbacher Häubchen is definitely recommended. Afterwards, it goes down into the idyllic Membach valley through Roßbach and past the small St. Michael Church back to the parking lot.
