One of the most popular photo spots is the enchanting rose garden in Hadamar, which was created in the mid-1990s on the Herzenberg Plateau and, during the summer months, becomes a very special attraction as a masterpiece of botany and rose cultivation. A symphony of diverse scents and colours invites you to linger peacefully in this magnificent local recreation area, which grows and becomes more beautiful with each passing year. Delight in the colourful splendour of the blooms and experience some ‘rosy moments’.
The garden is open all year round. Guided tours are available on request.
Visits are possible at any time and free of charge. You can get a taste of what to expect via a virtual 360° tour on Google Street View (Google Maps).
Thanks to volunteers, the association’s members and patrons, the support of the town of Hadamar, and donations from visitors, it is possible to maintain the rose garden and run it to a high standard. Donations – whether large or small – are very welcome. Donations can also be made in the form of various rose sponsorships. In doing so, you will be making an important contribution to this unique project. The ‘Verein Rosengarten Hadamar e. V.’ is a recognised charitable organisation.
The Hadamar Rose Garden offers a beautiful backdrop for wedding photos, photo shoots and commercial photography.Please note: Booking is required for this (see below for contact details). A fee of 50 euros is payable to the Rosengarten Hadamar e. V. association.
Marriage proposals, independent wedding ceremonies or other events can also be held in the rose garden. Please feel free to contact the association to discuss this.
The visit is free of charge. A donation is requested.
