Detailed description

The Protestant parish church in Kircheib is a Romanesque three-nave basilica from the 12th century. The central nave, illuminated by small round-arched windows, opens through three pillar arcades to the side naves. The chancel in the east is covered by a ribbed vault. Looking from the chancel in the east through the entrance area, located in the west tower, one can see the Great Oil Mountain of the Seven Mountains.
