The Evangelical Church Community Hamm/Sieg is one of 16 church communities in the Altenkirchen Church District and belongs to the Rhineland Church in Düsseldorf with its approximately 5,000 members.

The church community is divided into two parish districts:

Parish District I Rev. Dr. Klein:
Hamm, Etzbach, Heckenhof, Bitzen, Forst, Oettershagen, Nisterau, and Nisterbrück
Parish District II Rev. Stöcker:
Birkenbeul, Breitscheidt, Bruchertseifen, Haderschen, Pracht, Seelbach, Niederirsen, Fürthen, Hämmerholz, Hohensayn, and Thal, Roth (excluding Oettershagen, Nisterau, and Nisterbrück),
