The O2 offers us wonderful long-distance views and a varied landscape with meadows, fields, and forest. We have several places to stop for refreshments and for tree lovers there is the special feature of including the arboretum in the route. Lots of fun and a great view are offered by the swinging bench.
Parking lot Schulstraße 9/corner "Zum Wiesengrund", 56587 Oberraden (opposite Haus Waldblick)
We start the O2 circular route in Oberraden at the parking lot opposite Haus Waldblick. Across meadows and along the edge of the forest we go to and through Niederraden past Pension Hubertus – those who like can already have a small refreshment here. Along beautiful meadows and fields we reach Straßenhaus. Here we can include the arboretum in our route and admire the many different trees and shrubs. Next, it goes to the outskirts of Straßenhaus to the swinging bench, which offers us wonderful wide views and represents a special change on the route. From there, it is not far to our starting point in Oberraden.
