Local access via Mittelstraße
Train to Hachenburg, Bad Marienberg/Nistertal, Rothenhain
Start at the car park below the “Gräbersberg”. Footpath uphill towards the lookout tower, to the main path, turn left here and after 600 m right, then straight ahead to a junction, through the forest 2.5 km following the signs towards Langenbaum, over district road K2 to the “Haus am See” with a place to rest, along the path around the Dreifelder Weiher to Dreifelden with a noteworthy church, then main road, left onto the Westerwaldsteig to Linden, through the village to the Wiedquelle (road crossing), parallel to state road L303, through the village Lochum, over the “Alte Poststraße” to the “Gräbersberg” with lookout tower, downhill back to the starting point.
