Detailed description

The Wolf Stones were formed about 25 million years ago through a volcanic eruption. A legend tells that the devil wanted to build a staircase to heaven with stones here, but they fell apart. Today, the Wolf Stones are designated as a natural monument and a popular excursion destination.

Brief description

The Little Wolfstone is like the Great Wolfstone a basalt formation in the forest of the wildlife park on the Marienberg Heights.
