The National Automobile Museum is conveniently located in the middle of Germany.

Access is comfortable via the A45 highway. It is approximately 120 kilometers from Frankfurt Airport or downtown Cologne.

Experience the history of the automobile. The engineering behind it, the design, the diversity. We present the entire world of the automobile – from unknown prototypes to world-famous classics, from studies to everyday vehicles, from sports coupes to ultimate race cars.

The Museum

One of the most comprehensive and diverse collections in Europe, if not the world - The National Automobile Museum The Loh Collection - showcases around 150 unique automobiles from 135 years of automotive history. Vehicles from over 50 manufacturer brands can be seen, from rare exotics to million-sellers.

The National Automobile Museum places significant automobiles in the context of their respective era. It is the history of the builders and designers, the proud owners, and brave racers. It is the story behind the story.

Permanent Exhibition

More than 150 exhibits, more than 150 exciting stories. Knowledgeably narrated and stylishly presented in historic museum halls. With great attention to detail, we showcase the history of the automobile in all its diversity. We have defined various thematic areas, exhibit the most beautiful classics on a museum banking curve and in an oversized car display case. We have a cinema, an engine gallery, a technology center, and regularly changing special exhibitions. The National Automobile Museum imparts knowledge, excites car enthusiasts, and entertains the whole family.

Special Exhibition

The special exhibition "100 Years of 24h Le Mans – the Myth, the Heroes, the Cars" showcases the exciting development of the most famous endurance race in the world with more than 20 original Le Mans race cars from 1928 to today. The selection of exhibited vehicles has never been seen in this combination before. Start your engines!

Cinema

The "Capitol" in Art Deco style accommodates around 50 people. With stylish, classic seating and an original projector, we have integrated it into the old industrial hall.

Shop

In the museum shop, you will find a wide range of souvenirs and items, some of which have been exclusively designed and produced for the National Automobile Museum – and are only available here. This includes model cars in scales of 1:87, 1:43, and 1:18, as well as various posters, t-shirts, and mugs featuring highlight vehicles. Another highlight is a selection from the official "Le Mans Centenary" shop collection.
