From Niederbreitbach, the lively Wied accompanies us again and again on the N1. On varied paths across meadows and through beautiful mixed forests, we hike up to Wolfenacker and the Hegerhof farm. The trail curves past the striking Neuerburg castle down into the beautiful Fockenbach valley and to the Ackerhof farm. The trail leads us to the 223 m high Clausberg with its magnificent views. Several huts invite you to take a break on the way down to the village. Here we can refresh ourselves with snacks and drinks at the Neuerburg campsite and watch the children on the great playground.
