Starting from Rennerod (entry and parking at the school center, Kohlaustraße), three different loop tracks can be used:
- small, green loop: Rennerod School - short distance, approximately 5 km
- medium, yellow loop: Rennerod School - Wachholderheide, approximately 11 km
- large, red loop: Rennerod School - Krombachtalsperre, approximately 20 km
Additional parking lots and entries are available in Westernohe, access via Waldstraße; at the junction in Oberrod, access via K47 and K86; and at the trail parking lot in Rehe, access via B255 towards Krombachtalsperre/camping site.
