The Keramikmanufaktur Schilz has been processing the high-quality clays of the Westerwald since 1661. Salt fire is our speciality - a technique which has been passed on and improved from generation to generation.
From our ovens come daily beer mugs for breweries and celebrations, the Bembel for the good Äppelwoi as well as mustard and spice pots for genuine delicacies. As a training company in Höhr-Grenzhausen, we continuously pass on our experience and thus maintain this wonderful craft.
