In the tour planner we inform you under the tab "Current info" about temporary route changes, closures and detours.
The beautiful circular route Hü1 leads us out of the village over meadows and fields, along the edge of the forest and a bit through the forest towards Gierend up to just before the Kohleseifenstollen. A detour here is worthwhile for all interested parties. A small part of our hike then also runs along the Erzweg. We walk to the Hümmerich fountain and past a hut. Again, we pass beautiful meadows until we return to the village. Here the Landhotel Fernblick entices us with its restaurant including a sun terrace and good food with wonderful wide views.
This is also the start and finish of the two GPS puzzle routes "Kupfer" and "Gold" over nearly 5 km through forest and meadows, duration about 2.5 hours. Each route consists of 10 exciting and tricky puzzles. At the end, a treasure chest must be found and a numerical code cracked.
Game requirements are the waypoint maps and GPS devices, which can also be rented at the hotel (preferably reserve in advance, free of charge, ID card required).
