In the tour planner we inform you under the tab "Current info" about temporary route changes, closures and detours.
The beautiful Hü1 circular trail leads us out of the village across meadows and fields, along the edge of the forest and a little way through the forest towards Gierend until just before the Kohleseifenstollen. A detour here is worthwhile for anyone interested. A small part of our hike then also runs along the ore trail. We walk to the Hümmerich fountain and continue past a hut. Again we pass beautiful meadows until we come back to the village. Here we are attracted by the Landhotel Fernblick with its restaurant and sun terrace and good food with wonderful views.
This is also the start and finish of the two GPS puzzle tours "Copper" and "Gold", which cover almost 5 km through woods and meadows and take around 2.5 hours. Each tour consists of 10 exciting and tricky puzzles. At the end, a treasure chest must be found and a numerical code cracked.
The game requires waypoint maps and GPS devices, which can also be borrowed from the hotel (please reserve in advance, free of charge, ID must be presented).
