Have you ever been to the traditional crafts market in Grenzau, which takes place every year in August? If you are not yet familiar with this market, which is organised with great attention to detail, we warmly recommend you come to Grenzau. On an approximately 200-metre-long market zone along the secluded Brexbach stream at the foot of Grenzau Castle, which is also open on that day, a wide variety of crafts are presented at around 60 stalls. Glassblowers, beekeepers, pewterers and woodturners, fretworkers and knife forgers are all represented, as is a brush maker. There will not only be sales, but also demonstrations of how the goods are made, and visitors to the market will be able to get answers to one or two questions about the craft.
