In the tour planner we inform you under the tab "Current info" about temporary route changes, closures and detours.
The route starts in the town centre of Fehl-Ritzhausen on the Nister cycle path, which you follow to the junction to Neustadt. You continue over a hill to Hellenhahn-Schellenberg and downhill on forest paths to Rennerod. On the Westerwald loop Rennerod is again left on the climb. You continue on a railway track cycle path to Rehe. The following 3.5 km to Fuchskaute also steadily climb, passing Homberg and through several wind turbine locations. At the summit the Fuchskaute offers a rest area. The return journey starts with a long descent via Willingen to Stein-Neukirch, where there is another climb. The remaining section via Salzburg and Hof to Fehl-Ritzhausen mostly rolls by itself.

On the town outskirts:
The path runs for 22 km on farm and forest roads, 7.5 km on urban streets and 3.5 km on streets without cycle paths. The circular route requires consistently good cycling fitness. With an e-bike this route is an optimal course for everyone.
NOTE: Please note that on some short sections the signage currently requires increased attention.
