Description

This short bike path (just under 19 kilometers) is suitable for almost everyone. It leads through a part of the Asbacher Land and can also be easily cycled with children.

Safety instructions

Suitable for all fitness levels. Mostly paved paths. No special skills required.
Wear weather-appropriate, functional clothing that protects you from cold and wet or heat and sun.
Bring enough fluids with you. There are not everywhere opportunities to stop and eat.
If you think certain sections of the path are not passable for you, you should bypass them. Especially in adverse weather conditions, natural paths can become muddy and slippery.
Especially in autumn, you should be aware that leaves lying on the ground can cover unevenness, roots, stones, or holes in the path. Expect such path impairments when you undertake a bike ride,
Although the path is very well marked throughout, you should always carry a suitable bike map for safety reasons.

Equipment

For bags and backpacks, not only the back provides space during a bicycle ride – the weight of the equipment should ideally be distributed across several body and bike parts. Riding wind, rain, or sun can cause very different temperature sensations on the bike – a cold can best be avoided with professional cycling clothing. On a multi-day route, you should always have suitable change clothing on hand to be prepared for any eventuality. Besides other important equipment, necessary tools and repair items should not be forgotten. At high speed, you can quickly take a wrong turn on a bike ride: traditional and modern aids such as a bike map or a GPS device help with orientation. You should always also have a small emergency kit with you.

At the end of the route, you can refresh yourself at the ice cream parlor in Asbach after your efforts.
