In front of the Catholic Holy Cross Church in Herkersdorf we discover a bell tower. It was built in 1838 and belonged to the old village school of Herkersdorf. Thanks to the very committed craftsmen of Herkersdorf the tower could be preserved and erected at this location. A commemorative plaque underneath draws the attention of all supporters to the preservation and erection of the tower.
