The plastic work with clay is always in the foreground for me. It enables me to work out the characteristic features of an animal, be it through a surface, a facial expression or a posture. Thus each animal leaves my workshop with his very personal charm, sometimes grim looking, sometimes creeping around with high legs or resting on his pedestal. They find place in gardens, in living rooms, in foyers, in shops and galleries. Many of my loyal customers are always enthusiastic about new things. I am also looking forward to your visit.

Ceramic animal sculptures
My studio is located in Höhr-Grenzhausen on the premises of a former ceramic manufactory. There I have been producing ceramic animal sculptures for indoor and outdoor use for more than 20 years. Each piece is freely built up by hand with a red burning, coarse fireclayed stoneware mass, painted, glazed and fired at 1200° C. The stone is then polished and then polished.
