Start and finish: Hahn am See. Your town, with around 400 inhabitants, is located on the historically important federal road 8, exactly between Selters and Dornburg as well as Wirges and Westerburg. Hahn impresses with a well column built in 1870, a lime tree over 100 years old, and a small church from the 18th century.
The route leads through picturesque villages and the nature of the Westerwald. Particularly noteworthy are the half-timbered houses and old chapels. The small chapel in Eisen, a district of Meudt, is especially charming. The villages are partly over 1,000 years old. The town hall in Meudt, built at the end of the 16th century, is the oldest of its kind in the Westerwald.
