Wäller Spendenwanderung - Rund um den Wildpark

On September 21, 2025 , the Sparkassen Westerwald-Sieg and Neuwied, as well as the Westerwald Touristik-Service, invite you to the 2nd Wäller Charity Hike. This event offers hiking enthusiasts the opportunity to explore the beautiful landscapes of the Westerwald while contributing to a good cause.

For families, there is the stroller-friendly circular path in the Wildpark Bad Marienberg or the Little Wäller "Wolfsteine" to explore on this day.

Family tour in the Wildpark: The approximately 4-kilometer route leads through the idyllic forest and meadow landscapes of the animal park. Along the way, highlights such as a petting zoo and a large adventure playground await little (and big) explorers.

Little Wäller Wolfsteine: The Little Wäller Wolfsteine, at a length of 7 km, is a great circular hike for families and all hikers who love variety. The route goes from the Marienberger Höhe to the city center, through the Park of Senses with its Apothecary Garden and barefoot path, back through the Basaltpark to the Wildpark.

No registration is necessary – just come by, start hiking, and enjoy!

At each official start and finish point of the various circular routes, a team from the Sparkassen and the Westerwald Touristik-Service GbR will be on site – and that between 10:00 and 17:00. Please consider these times when planning.

At the beginning of the hike, all participants will receive a small snack for fortification. About halfway along the route, you can expect a photo spot where a group photo/selfie will be taken – this will serve as confirmation of participation. At the end of the route, there will be a donation coupon as a reward.

There is also something for the little hiking fans: At each starting point, a small surprise awaits the children. In the Wildpark Bad Marienberg, a large bouncy castle from Sparkasse Westerwald-Sieg will also be set up – fun guaranteed!
