In 1875, Heinrich Kraemer (II.) built the Villa Kraemer on Lindenstrasse in Kirchen for his brother Otto Kraemer. Heinrich Kraemer was mayor of Kirchen from 1884 to 1897 and a member of the Reichstag from 1890 to 1905. He lived directly opposite in another villa. The Kraemer family had various investments in local companies. In 1924 the villa was purchased by the city of Kirchen. Until the building was renovated and converted, the building authority of the Verbandsgemeinde of Kirchen was housed here. After the building of the new municipal administration (town hall) in the immediate vicinity was completed (1993) and all departments were brought together there, the historic Villa Kraemer could be renovated and converted.
The villa is now the seat of the city of Kirchen (city office) and, in addition to an office for the police district service, also contains the premises of the association's municipal utilities and a wedding room on the upper floor. The city of Kirchen’s “Spotlight” youth club is housed in the basement of the building.
The former Villa Kraemer was built in 1875 and is now the seat of the city of Kirchen (Sieg). In addition to a city office and the premises of the Verbandsgemeindewerke, there is also a wedding room on the upper floor.
