Experience the processing of the "white gold" very closely. We explain everything about salt-glazed stoneware, show our decoration techniques & the kiln area, as well as pottery. Salt glazed "Grey-blue" stoneware is inseparably connected with Höhr-Grenzhausen and the Kannenbäckerland. For over 125 years we have been producing these distinctive products in our traditional pottery. A special production process, which has been essentially preserved over the years, allows the pieces to become high-quality unique specimens by firing them in an open fire at over 1,200 °C and by adding pure cooking salt.
