Salzburger Kopf

Detailed description

The death sentences were carried out on the nearby Gallows Hill. A notice board indicates the former place of execution. The Salzburger Kopf ski area There are 0.3 km of slopes available for skiing and snowboarding. 2 lifts transport the guests. The winter sports area is at an altitude of 604 to 654 m. The ski area on the Salzburger Kopf ski slope is an ideal destination for families with children for skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing. The ski slope operated by the WSV Salzburger Kopf ski club offers the highest ski run in the Westerwald and the first snow tubing facility in Rhineland-Palatinate. The wide slope with its even gradient is particularly suitable for children and beginners who want to practice skiing in a relaxed manner. The ski club also offers ski courses. The greatest fun, however, is the snow tubing facility on the Salzburger Kopf: If you dare, you can whiz down the slope pretty quickly in the thick, air-filled tires.
