To the Tour PlanerOur varied circular trail S3 Straßenhaus first takes us through the forest along the edge of Jahrsfeld. Then we walk along the meadows and fields for a while with beautiful views. We cross the Fockenbach stream and enter the forest. Our path leads us in the direction of the Fockenbach mill until we turn back east of Hollig. To the south of Hümmerich, we continue along the Fockenbach stream until we reach the Hümmericher Mühle mill. Here we meet the Gierender Bach. However, we continue to follow the Fockenbach to the Alexander pit (detour) and further past a barbecue hut to the Niederhonnefer Mühle. In Niederhonnefeld we can refresh ourselves in the natural swimming pool during the warm season. We continue to the starting point of our tour.
The varied S3 Straßenhaus leads us through mixed forest as well as along meadows and fields with beautiful views. We are accompanied by the Fockenbach and Gierender Bach streams.
