Open tour White preparation/ hoisting framework Shaft 2
From April to October, we are open every 3rd Saturday of the month from 14:30 to 17:00.
At 14:30, we offer a guided tour.
Please plan approximately 90 minutes for your visit with us.
We begin our tours with a presentation about the Siegerland mining industry, focusing on the Willroth mining tradition. Afterwards, you can visit our small museum with mining relics and climb the hoisting tower accompanied by our tour guides. From the highest point, you not only have a fantastic view over the Raiffeisen region, but also, if the weather is nice and with a bit of luck, of the Cologne Cathedral.
Start 14:30Adults: 5.00 EUR/ Children and adolescents 3.00 EUR
Participation in the tour and ascent of the hoisting tower is at your own risk. We would like to point out that teenagers under 14 years may only go up to the hanging platform (half height) for safety reasons, but not on the outside stairs of the hoisting tower. Furthermore, the provisions of the visitor regulations apply.
