The O2 offers us magnificent distant views and a varied landscape with meadows, fields and forests. We have several refreshment stops and for tree lovers there is the special feature of including the arboretum in the tour. The swing bench offers a lot of fun and a great view.
This nice little loop takes us 4 km across meadows and fields as well as along the edge of the forest from Oberraden via Niederraden to Straßenhaus and back to the starting point.
Parking lot Schulstraße 9/corner "Zum Wiesengrund", 56587 Oberraden (opposite Haus Waldblick)
We start the circular route of the O2 in Oberraden at the parking lot opposite Haus Waldblick. Across meadows and along the edge of the forest we go to and through Niederraden past the Pension Hubertus - who likes, can already have a little refreshment here. Along beautiful meadows and fields we reach Straßenhaus. Here we can include the arboretum in our tour and marvel at the many different trees and shrubs. We continue on the outskirts of Straßenhaus to the swinging bench, which offers us magnificent views and is a special change on the route. From there it is not far to our starting point in Oberraden.
