Limbach

Limbacher Runden

Brief description

The LIMBACHER RUNDEN, that is more than 20 (!) circular hiking trails between 3 and 25 km, which offer almost 300 km of pure hiking pleasure in an area of over 120 km².

They combine the "great hiking trails" with the many nameless, no less worthwhile hiking trails and paths, thus creating a completely new hiking experience close to nature. The start and finish of all tours are at the Haus des Gastes in the hiking and leisure village of Limbach, which, due to its location, is an ideal starting point for attractive circular walks. From here you can hike in any direction and in any scenic and cultural area: From the Gebhardshainer Land with its mining industry in the north to Marienstatt Monastery and the baroque Hachenburg Castle in the south. And from east to west from the Nauberg nature forest reserve through the Kroppacher Schweiz landscape conservation area to the "end of the world"... and beyond. For each round there is a separate flyer with a very (!) detailed textual route description. Based on the numerous and close-meshed markings of the WesterwaldSteig, Druidensteig or Marienwanderweg as well as other hiking signs, this route description will guide you safely along the entire route. The flyers for the LIMBACHER RUNS are available here for download and printing.

For a small fee they are also available at the always open information point at the Haus des Gastes (Hardweg 3, 57629 Limbach, backside!)
