As part of the open-air series "KulturzAUber 4.0", Tilmann Birr & Elis C. Bihn will perform "World Hits in Hesse" on June 7 at the parking lot behind the KulturScheune Herborn. It starts at 8 PM.

Have you ever wondered how Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, and Elvis Presley would sound if they had sung in Hesse? No, you haven't. That's why Tilman Birr and Elis C. Bihn asked this question for you; you wouldn’t have come up with it on your own anyway. Birr and Bihn have taken on the linguistically challenging task of translating the most important world hits from the last sixty years from English, the language of warnings and airport announcements, into the language of poetry and grace: Hesse.
Now they sing Miley Cyrus' "Abrissbern", Rihanna's "Reschescherm", or Britney Spears' "Schlaach misch, Mädsche, nochema" with bass, guitar, and two voices. And they will keep going until you think: "Help me! I need someone" (Lennon/McCartney). The Hessification of the world remains the task of Tilman Birr and Elis C. Bihn! Soon in every theater, community hall, and small garden club house between the Rhine, Main, Kinzig, and Lahn.
