The Holper Bachtal includes the local communities of Bitzen and Forst as well as parts of the local community of Fürthen north of the Sieg. The Holperbach Valley belongs to the Hamm (Sieg) municipality and is located in the Altenkirchen district in Rhineland-Palatinate. The area is also known simply as the mountain. Beautiful hiking trails can be found in one of the northernmost corners of the Altenkirchen district.
