For more than 20 years, a very special ceramics festival has been held at the start of the tourist season with "Höhr-Grenzhausen burns ceramics". There is also a special theme for this, which the ceramics workshops stage in a special way. So come to the Centre of European Ceramics and let us surprise you! You can watch, ask questions and be amazed by the variety of different offers and the innumerable possibilities to process the raw material clay. Contemporary art, forward-looking innovation and centuries of tradition: Höhr-Grenzhausen thus impressively demonstrates its ceramic expertise. Find your favourite handmade pieces in the beautifully decorated workshop rooms, galleries and shops - individual utilitarian ceramics, mostly created on the potter's wheel, jewellery, unique artistic pieces or the "Höhrer Hocker" for your garden - the ceramists set their tables for you with everything they have to offer. As a start and end point, it is worth visiting the Westerwald Ceramics Museum, which also has a lot to offer with free admission.
