The holiday apartments are located in the heart of the wildly romantic Wiedbach Valley. The Wied flows into the Rhine at Neuwied. The region is the lower Rhenish Westerwald. For your relaxation, there is a wide network of hiking and cycle paths that lead you right into the middle of nature. Discover the quiet valleys of the Westerwald. Here you can escape the daily stress and experience direct contact with nature.
You will enjoy the peace in the forest and your senses will perceive the smells and sounds of the forest. On your walks and day trips, whether on foot or by bike, you will find restaurants or places to stop for a break and enjoy yourself.
We can also give you some insider tips. Your stay in the Westerwald will thus become a lasting experience from which you can recharge your batteries for a long time to come.

City air pleasing.

If you need a change and want to get a taste of the city air, you can reach Koblenz am Rhein in 35 minutes by car. Here you will find a beautiful old town with many taverns and restaurants at the Deutsches Eck. Here the Moselle flows into the Rhine and the Köln Düsseldorfer Schifffahrsgesellschaft starts wonderful boat tours over the Rhine and Moselle.
There are many hiking trails along the Rhine, especially the Rheinsteig. Let yourself be seduced to hike through the vineyards. Breathe in the typical smell of the vineyards and stop at one of the hidden ostrich taverns.
You can explore many castles and palaces on the Rhine and the Moselle. This is a special attraction for children and adults alike.
Cologne, the big city on the Rhine, is about 50 minutes by car from our holiday apartment. Enjoy the metropolitan flair on the Rhine. Climb the Cologne Cathedral and go out to one of the many great restaurants. Here you can experience metropolitan culture within easy reach. Many museums are looking forward to your visit.

Our holiday apartments are located in 53547 Hausen. Between Cologne and Frankfurt, approx. 16 kilometres from Linz am Rhein.
Cologne is 50 minutes by car, Koblenz 35 minutes by car.
The federal motorway A3 is in 20 minutes distance to our vacation home.
