The Aquarena Night, the popular Dillenburg city festival, is returning for another round and will electrify the city of Oranien once again this year!

SAVE THE DATE: On Saturday, August 23, the Dillenburg city center will once again transform into a large open-air music landscape. Enjoyment, a vibrant atmosphere, lively party mood, and experiencing the city of Oranien – all of this will be offered to music-loving guests on site with a wide range of good live music and culinary delights.

Since the musical concept was revised some time ago, the summer bash has grown in popularity. This year marks the sixth consecutive year that so-called tribute bands from the musical genres of pop, rock, and hard rock or heavy metal have taken center stage. The goal of a tribute band is to faithfully reproduce the music compositions of a well-known band. Often, the performing groups do not only limit themselves to copying the music but also strive to resemble their idols in appearance, sometimes delivering a perfect reproduction of shows from the original artist groups. Visitors to Aquarena Night 2025 can look forward to a total of nine live bands on three stages this year. Cool sounds in front of the party stage in the courtyard will once again create a lively atmosphere among the party guests. To ensure that as many music-loving guests as possible find their way to the city of Oranien again in 2025, a promising program has been put together for this popular summer event.

This year's music program is very diverse and consists of national as well as international tribute bands, as well as artist groups with their own songs. Guests of Aquarena Night can look forward to shows from Led Zeppelin (Mothership from Veneto / Italy), Deep Purple (Purple Rising from Bad Homburg), Avenged Sevenfold (Danger Line from Lombardy / Italy), Sabaton (Ghost Division from Noord-Brabant / Netherlands), Slipknot (PsychoSocial from Noord-Brabant / Netherlands), Tina Turner (This is TINA! from Noord-Brabant / Netherlands), Marius Müller-Westernhagen (Ladykiller from Dillenburg), Hitsköpfe (from Siegen), and Old’s Cool Project (from Dillenburg). The courtyard will again be integrated into the celebration this year, especially providing a great party stage for younger guests. It is agreed that a high-quality, attractive, and simultaneously varied program has been established.

Moreover, the festival guests will be offered an excellent accompanying program away from the main stages. Dillenburg’s restaurateurs and retailers are also participating in the big summer bash. There will be a musical lounge and meeting point on Marktplatz, and local DJs will spin records at Wilhelmstraße, contributing to a lively dance music atmosphere.

The entrance fee for this year's open-air bash is 6 euros. The walking distances between the individual stages are kept short, and the culinary offerings are, as usual, diverse. Drinks are available in 0.4 l containers for 3 euros each. The purchase price for a festival cup is 1 euro. However, anyone who still possesses 0.4 l cups from previous years of Aquarena Night can of course bring them to the festival again. For the third consecutive year, beverage counters will be positioned at the four entrances and two additional locations on the event site. Here, drink chips can be purchased, which can be exchanged for drinks at the event area. Drink chips from last year will also remain valid and can be redeemed at the drink stands this year.

The foundations for a successful Dillenburg city festival have been laid. Therefore, hopes are high in Dillenburg and the surrounding area for a beautiful, warm, and above all dry summer evening on Saturday, August 23!
