The family-friendly Wiedtalbad offers a wide range of attractions and events. Located in the heart of the romantic Wied Valley, it has a spacious sunbathing lawn, two heated outdoor pools, a paddling pool, diving boards, a playground and sports options including beach volleyball and table tennis. In the summer, it offers fitness and wellness days, taster and family sauna sessions and an extensive programme of activities for children.
The Wiedtalbad has longer opening hours than many of the swimming pools in the region. It is open until 9 p.m. almost every day, making it worth a visit in the evening as well.
The indoor area has a pool for lane swimming and a fun pool with a slide, a counter-current channel and a waterfall. Water babies can have fun playing in the paddling pool. A jacuzzi with water at 35°C provides the perfect place to relax, and there are also relaxation rooms with views of the wonderful outdoor pool area.
The Wiedtalbad sauna world promises vitality, relaxation and a very special atmosphere. In the Valo sauna, guests can enjoy essential oils under a starry sky. The Ruusu sauna uses a rose aroma for a calming and uplifting effect, while rose quartz stones create a wonderful setting. Infusions are poured over the hot stones in the outdoor sauna cabin. The Mediterranean design gives the spa a real holiday feel. The humid heat in the steam bath is both powerful and gentle, and the sunbathing lawn in the sauna garden, the relaxation room with its open fire and the sleep room are perfect places to relax.
The sauna world is a fantastic place to visit even in the summer, when you can cool off in cooling channels, plunge pools and massage showers, and relax on the sunbathing lawn and in the relaxation room. There is a private nude area for sunbathing and you can swim in the outdoor pool.
Good food at family-friendly prices adds the finishing touch. The Wiedtalbad bistro has a new menu, and guests who are not swimming or using the sauna are also welcome to visit the bistro without having to buy a ticket. You can eat in the beer garden, in the foyer bistro or in the outdoor area.
