Our traditional Christmas concert is back on our annual programme at the end of the year. We have once again been able to attract high-calibre concert partners for our Christmas concert. The Limburg Cathedral Boys' Choir, who have a rich Christmas repertoire, will complement the choral programme as a guest choir. The Horbach soprano Kirsten Labonte and her husband, tenor Carlos Moreno Pelizari, have been secured as soloists. Both vocal professionals currently sing at the Regensburg Theatre. Kirsten Labonte is well known to Westerwald audiences from the Christmas concerts of the Westerwald Vocalists and with our choir. Tenor Carlos Moreno Pelizari was born in Santiago de Chile and studied at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen. His musical career to date has taken him to the Detmold State Theatre, the Saarland State Theatre in Saarbrücken and the Aachen Theatre as a permanent member of the ensemble. Of course, our male choir will also be presenting a well-prepared Christmas programme. The pianist for the evening will be the young, trained pianist Clarissa Wagner, who has also been working with our guest choir, the Limburg Cathedral Boys' Choir, for some time. With this ensemble, we can offer our audience a Christmas concert programme with many facets. Our choirmaster Jürgen Faßbender has the overall musical direction and will realise the potential of the choir.
