For many years, Seifen station was a hub and there was a lot of activity in and around the station.
The Altenkirchen-Siershahn line, the Krupp'sche Grubenbahn with the ore loading station and beyond the Wied the Altenkirchen- Linz line. There is much to discover and to tell on this hike for the whole family.
The almost 8 km long trail takes us to the most beautiful vantage points around Seifen. Information boards give an insight into Seifen's railroad history and its station.
With a little help from others, even carrying a baby carriage is no problem. Sturdy shoes are required. The number of participants is limited to 40 people (including children).
