The eight-hectare nature reserve "Im Geraum" near Kausen, above the motorway to Hachenburg - an "insider tip" for nature lovers and botanists, is the best orchid site far and wide. Today, the area is grazed by cattle. In the 1980s, it was actually intended as a Christmas tree plantation.
