Kreismusikschule Altenkirchen, Tanzstudio "Tanz(t)raum Balé" and Milli Zauberwald bring around 200 actors to the stage of the Kulturwerk in Wissen Wissen/Altenkirchen. It will be a concert and a theatre show, a dance spectacle and a musical. It will be educational, exciting and entertaining. But above all, it will be great - that's a promise! On Saturday, 13 May, the Kulturwerk in Wissen will experience a premiere that is unusual in two respects: For the first time, almost 200 little singers and dancers will be on stage in this constellation, and also for the first time, you will hear the new songs of "Milli Zauberwald", behind whom the singing teacher Milena Lenz-Mester from Hachenburg is hiding. Together with the Altenkirchen District Music School and the dance studio "Tanz(t)raum Balé" from Wissen, a big musical is being staged - with professionals, with children, for children. Premiere in Wissen The character "Milli Zauberwald" was developed by Milena Lenz-Mester in the first year of the pandemic. Other plans had just collapsed because of the virus. Together with Anika Schlosser, owner of "Tanz(t)raum Balé", and the district music school, the singer had actually wanted to initiate a musical camp. Nothing came of it (for the time being). Instead, the little magic fairy Milli took off. After a Christmas radio play, a musical "Pyjama Party" was produced in the summer of 2021, two CDs with pieces written by Lenz-Mester herself. Now work no. 3 has been produced: "Feelings in Danger." And these songs will now celebrate their public premiere in Wissen. This will be combined with a performance by the "Tanz(t)raum Balé". Once a year, the youngest course participants show what they have learned. And what could be better than presenting their skills together with "Milli Zauberwald" and her friends? According to Anika Schlosser, about 100 girls and boys aged three to ten from six dance groups will be on stage in Wissen under the direction of Lisa Wagner and Anna-Louisa Hildebrand. District music school joins in And as if the show effect wasn't big enough already, the district music school will also join in. A children's choir under the direction of Esther Hucks and the partner choir of the Franziskus Primary School in Wissen under the direction of Simone Bröhl will also be taking part. About 80 children are expected to fill the Kulturwerk to the rafters. The choir can also be heard on the new CD.
