A mosaic of microclimates covers the low mountain range landscape around Dillenburg. Topography, soil, plants, light and air influence the climatic conditions even in a small area. As you explore the landscape, you will learn that you can often sense and localise the change to a different microclimate. You will discover the causes and learn about new, hidden connections in nature. In high-pressure areas in summer, microclimates can become so large and stable that you can move around in them. The three-hour hike with nature park guide Achim Striebeck starts at 3 pm in Dillenburg at the car park, Vogelstange/Am Rennweg. The cost is €10 per person.
