HeimArt : Künstler*innnen der Hornister-Gemeinden stellen aus (bis 30. OKT)

Description

Under the appropriate title HeimArt, artists from the Hornister communities are exhibiting their work in the Café Kohleschuppen in the Stöffel Park. The exhibition will start at the Stöffel Festival, on Saturday 27 August at 3 pm. It will be musically accompanied by "Mellow Yellow". Anyone interested is welcome.

Six artists "from here"!

They have one thing in common - the six artists from the Hornister villages of Enspel, Langenhahn, Rotenhain and Stockum-Püschen. They all spent their childhoods in the beautiful and also and rough basalt landscape of the Westerwald. This has left its mark on them and has often flowed into their artistic work. The artists are: Bernd Baldus, Carmen Benner, Sabine Dörner, Jutta Fasshauer-Jung, Philipp Lamboy, Theresia Müller-Kunz.

50 years of VG Westerburg is the occasion

The styles and forms of expression of the six artists, however, are very different, and so they present themselves in a multifaceted joint exhibition on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Verbandsgemeinde Westerburg. The exhibition can be seen in the Café Kohleschuppen until 30 October 2022.
