The "English House" is how the house is known in the small community of Härtlingen with over 400 inhabitants. The house is from the 1970s and gets its name from the architect of the same name. It was completely renovated in 2020, with modern ecological technology such as a heat pump (with cooling function in summer) and underfloor heating in winter. In addition, you can charge your e-car via a wallbox with type 2 plug.
The house offers you 54 sqm of living space indoors plus another 20 sqm in the converted garage, which contains a second bathroom after using the sauna. Due to the nearby forest, it is very quiet. The 20 sqm terrace (equipped with an awning) not only invites you to barbecue, especially in summer (charcoal grill available), but also offers a wonderful view of the almost 1400 sqm park-like property. The property is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of the village, directly at the forest and developed cycle paths.
Dogs are welcome. Please bring only 1 dog. The property is fenced in, but there are loopholes for runaways in some places. Please understand that you are fully responsible for the dog, as well as for any damage.
If the dog would like to go on the couch, please put the provided bedspread underneath. Please dispose of the dog's waste in bags in the grey bin.
A washing machine is also available for use.
Toilet paper, dishwasher tabs and kitchen roll are provided for the first 3 days.
Directly at the lower end of the property, is the public playground with table tennis.
In Kaden there is a bakery which is only open until midday. Further shopping facilities can be found in Westerburg (8 km).
